Stephen Nix: Founder & Chairman

Stephen Nix is the founder of Student Golfers and a passionate ambassador for the game of golf. A dedicated father of five, Stephen is deeply committed to the well-being of juniors and their development through the sport. He owns and operates Birdie Shack Indoor Golf, a premier golf simulator training facility, where he continues to nurture the next generation of golfers.

As a certified golf coach, Stephen began his professional career working with juniors, and over the years, he has remained focused on providing young athletes with the tools they need to succeed. While recognizing the value of existing programs for student golfers, Stephen saw the need for an initiative that places primary emphasis on the students themselves, followed by the professionals who mentor them, and lastly, access to top-notch facilities, courses, and equipment.

Stephen believes in the power of the outdoors and the role golf plays in fostering a strong work ethic, discipline, and character in young people. Through Student Golfers, he is committed to making golf more accessible while helping juniors develop the skills and values that will serve them both on and off the course.
